Education and Training

Joy Harris is fully certified in the five modalities listed below.

In addition to these certifications, I also have a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University in Individualized Studies, with focused learning in Community Health, Educational Psychology, and Human Resources. This is a natural fit with my decades of Elder and Childcare experience, plus 29 years of experience and training in Nutritional Wellness and Kinesiology.

Basic Description of All Healing Modalities and Techniques

The Emotion Code Method and Body Code System are gentle energy-release techniques that help you feel freer, happier, and healthier.

The Emotion Code is the simplest way to get rid of your emotional baggage.

The technique was created and refined by a chiropractor, Dr. Bradley Nelson, who realized that his patients’ aches and pains were more than just physically based. They were emotional.

Dr. Nelson coined the phrase “trapped emotions,” meaning negative energies that become trapped in the body during intense emotional events.

Because the body is actually made of pure energy, the negative energy of trapped emotions can exert a damaging force on the body, which worsens over time. Trapped emotions cause pain, self-sabotage, emotional problems, and all kinds of malfunction and disease.

I have been trained to help you discover and release your trapped emotions, which will help your body’s natural ability to heal itself, often resulting in a reversal of the disease process and a disappearance of emotional and physical ailments.

Disclosure of Health Information

You will be given a Client Information Intake Form, which asks for full disclosure of any health information that might affect your treatments, such as pregnancy, or physical limitations, such as breathing difficulties or extreme pain.

Joy Harris and Joyful Energy Heals cannot be held responsible for any information not disclosed regarding current and past medical or emotional conditions.

Confidentiality of Records and Client Rights

At any time, you have the right to discontinue services, change consent, or leave.

You also have the right to ask any question about your session.

Your client information and records are treated in a confidential manner. Your experiences during these sessions are confidential, subject to the usual exceptions governed by state or federal laws and regulations.

Confidentiality is subject to the following exceptions:

You may instruct me in writing to release information to other healthcare practitioners.

I may release information if subpoenaed or otherwise obligated or reasonably permitted to do so, including circumstances where there is a clear and imminent danger to you or another person.

Your confidential personal file is kept in a secure location and retained for four years after you suspend services. After that time, all information will be destroyed in an appropriate manner.

Your confidentiality is always subject to the usual exclusions dictated by state and federal laws and regulations.

Release of Liability

The services offered by Joy Harris and Joyful Energy Heals, including Emotion Code, Body Code, Belief Code, Chakra Healing, and Hypnotherapy, are gentle, complementary approaches to health and healing that can assist your body in its natural ability to heal.

Some services are provided as Distance Healing, which will be explained fully during the session.

Distance Healing is accomplished through energetic connection by proxy with the use of magnets. You will not experience any physical contact. You may decline or change your consent to continue at any time.

Should you choose to participate in the Energy Work, you have the choice to give consent for Joy Harris and Joyful Energy Heals to act as “proxy” for you so that you may enjoy the benefits of a session.

The energy-healing process may begin after you decide on this option. Consent is a prerequisite to any energetic connection.

Services offered through Joy Harris and Joyful Energy Heals are complementary therapies and are not intended to replace any currently prescribed medical treatments ordered by your physicians, nor any other medical care you have or may be advised to seek.

You will be encouraged to consult a licensed medical practitioner for any physical or mental complaints you may have.

After completing your first session, if you believe that you have not benefited or received any value whatsoever, your fee will be promptly refunded.

While these services are gentle, complementary approaches, there may be risks.

Most people process the energy released very easily. However, occasionally there may be symptoms that come along with processing that you need to be aware of.

Usually, this is something minor, such as emotional irritability or a little fatigue. It could, however, be something more uncomfortable, such as a headache or nausea.

It all depends on what was released, what is going on with your body at the time, your stress level, and many other external factors.

You can make the processing period easier by getting extra sleep the night before, drinking plenty of pure water, and avoiding stressful situations.

Joy Harris of Joyful Energy Heals asks that you contact her immediately if any processing work is too uncomfortable so that she may help you.

All energies released are intended to release gently and peacefully.

Except in the case of gross negligence or malpractice, I, or my representative, agree to fully release and hold harmless Joy Harris and Joyful Energy Heals from and against any and all claims or liability of whatever kind or nature arising out of or in connection with my session or sessions.

My questions have been answered to my satisfaction regarding Joy Harris and the Joyful Energy Heals company background.

If I am a telephone or online video client, I understand that when paying for services, I fully consent to the services offered by Joy Harris and Joyful Energy Heals and to all terms stated herein.
